Rapidox 2100 Accessories

1) Sample Pump

If you need to sample gas remotely using your Rapidox 2100 you may want to consider the R2002 sample pump attachment which is used in conjunction with a Rapidox 2100 system to provide a smooth flow of gas drawn from flexible tubing.  The pump is lightweight and portable and is mains powered (110V or 240V) for years of trouble free operation.  The heart of the R2002 itself is a top-of-the-range Medo linear-motor-driven free piston vacuum pump manufactured by Nitto a world leader in pump technology.  The pumps are exceptionally quiet (40 dB/m or less).

Features include: a panel mounted flow gauge with needle valve for precise adjustment of flow and a bright-lit LED to indicate operation.  The R2002 is supplied in an attractive case with brushed aluminium front and rear panels.

2) Vacuum Fittings

The Rapidox sensor can be used with a vacuum system and we offer a couple of most common fittings to enable fast and easy connection.  These are KF (25mm) and CF (50mm) type fittings that are manufactured in stainless steel.  The KF fitting is supplied with a high-temperature viton gasket and clamp.  The CF fitting is supplied with a gasket

3) Heat Protective Cover

New to 2006 is a special heat protective cover for the Rapidox 2100 sensor.  Allowing the user to place the sensor safely on a bench without the risk of burning from the hot sensor surface.  The sensor is mounted on a stainless steel base and a stainless steel cover is fitted over the entire sensor and sampling block.  Once fitted the exposed surfaces remain cool enough to touch and the unit will sit firmly on the bench using four rubber feet.  Sensor can be removed at any time when not in use.

We can aslo supply a range of fittings / needle valves and gauges if requested.  Please feel free to tell us of your specific requirements.

We can also supply your Rapidox with a Laptop computer for data-logging purposes.  The Laptop is a state-of-the-art established brand and is set up by ourselves to meet your exact requirements.  Extended warranties, software and accessories can be added if required.

4) Optional Pressure Sensor

For customers working with gas under pressure, the optional pressure sensor can be used directly in conjunction with the Rapidox sensor.  The sensor is supplied on a 2m cable with gas fitting an connects to the front of the machine via the auxiliary socket.  Standard ranges available are 0-5 bar and 0-10 bar gauge (other ranges available on request).  The reading from the sensor can be displayed on the second line of the Rapidox display and the unit can be configured to compensate the oxygen partial pressure to give a concentration reading.  Alternatively the two sensors can be used independently of each other.  The pressure reading is data logged and displayed on the live-time graph if required.

5) Optional Dew-Point Sensor

New for 2007 - customers who wish to measure dew-point in addition to oxygen can use a Michell Instruments Easy Dew transmitter.  Built and tested to the highest standards the Easydew covers the range -100°C to +20°C dp.  Supplied with a 2m cable and sample chamber (similar to the pressure sensor adapter shown above).  The Easydew can be configured in seconds using the Rapidox 2100 front panel keypad.

6) Calibration Gas Kit

Supplied in a smart carry case with two canisters of calibration gas 4000pppm and 15ppm this is a convenient way of quickly checking and calibration your Rapidox analyser.  Kits are supplied with either a fixed flow regulator (for analysers without sample pumps) or a special demand flow regulator (for analysers with sample pumps).  Independent analysis certificates for each gas bottle are available for a small additional charge.  Each gas bottle is a lightweight disposable canister that can be recycled.  The canister is filled with 110L of calibration gas giving approx 220 minutes of gas.
