The FGD10 series comprises flameproof Fixed Gas Detectors for in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres. The series can be bought either with or without a window and digital display. They can be supplied either in aluminium or grade 316 stainless steel.

The FGD14 series are stand-alone gas detectors with a front panel display of the gas level. The detectors contain 2 control relays that can be activated via user definable alarm set points; the relay contacts can then be used to control external equipment.

The FGD3 series gas detectors are powered from an intrinsically safe dc power supply and provide an industry standard 4 to 20mA output signal, and are available for detection of many common gas types.

The FGD4 series gas detectors use the industry standard 4 to 20mA two-wire current loop to transmit the gas level to a separate control panel such as the Status Scientific Controls LC Series.
