Rapidox 3100Z O2
Bench-Mounted Zirconia Oxygen Gas Analyser
Bench-mounted precision oxygen gas analyser based on zirconia oxygen sensor technology with powerful internal linear piston sample pump, full pressure correction and temperature measurements using type K thermocouple 0-1250°C. Suitable for on-line continuous oxygen measurements in inert gases in the range 10-20ppm to 100% O2.
The Rapidox 3100Z oxygen analyser allows fast and accurate oxygen analysis over the full oxygen range (10-20ppm to 100% O2). The gas analyser provides continuous on-line oxygen analysis, with a typical response time less than 5 seconds for a 90% response to a step change in gas compositions.
At the heart of the Rapidox 3100Z is a top-of-the-range Medo linear-piston vacuum pump. The pumps are exceptionally quiet (40 dB/m or less). The flow of gas can be adjusted using the flow gauge / needle valve on the front panel of the gas analyser. Typical flow rate is 1 litre per minute.
The zirconia sensor head is located inside the gas analyser and needs to be heated to 650°C before it will conduct oxygen ions. The gas analyser supplies heat to the sensor, which is controlled very accurately by a regulated power supply incorporated in the instrument. An internal pressure sensor compensates for small changes in gas pressure to keep the readings stable.
The gas analyser is packed with features including fully programmable alarm circuits, programmable analogue outputs, easy calibration (any two or three user selectable gases), RS232 / RS485 communications, independent type K thermocouple and a full set of communications /data-logging software that is MS Excel compatible.
Optional swing handle, Peli-style carry case, printer and gas filters are available.
