New for 2009 Cambridge Sensotec are pleased to offer the Rapidox 1100; our entry level oxygen gas analyser. Based on the successful Rapidox 3100 this unit is smaller and more compact, yet retains many of the features offered in its larger brother. It is our first ever unit offered with EITHER an electrochemical cell OR a zirconia cell at the same price! The R1100 has a fixed flow sample pump for continuous sampling of the gas, and comes packed with features such as data-logging software, programmable alarms, programmable outputs and data-logging software. The R1100E is based on the World-renowned Yuasa electrochemical cell which has a very long life (3-5 years) and is resistant to poisoning from carbon dioxide. The 1100E is suitable for use with hydrogen, helium and CH4 containing gases that are not compatible with zirconia. Range is 0.01% to 100% O2 The R1100Z is based on our Rapidox 3100 system and contains a zirconia sensor for enhanced range and speed. Zirconia sensors have many advantages over electrochemical sensors such as speed of response and low ppm measurements. However not all gases (e.g. flammable) are suitable for use with a zirconia sensor and in this case the R1100E is more appropriate. Range is 1.0ppm to 100% O2 New for 2010: Sensotec has launched the new 1100L which is a special low range ppm electrochemical sensor version of the analyser. Using the latest technology oxygen sensor from IT in Germany, the analyser allows oxygen to be measured in the range 0.1ppm to 1.0% in a range of applications where the traditional zirconia analyser is not suitable. This includes gases such as hydrogen and helium and other gases that contain significant quantities of VOCs, solvents and fuels. The analyser has all the same features and software as supplied with the 1100Z and 1100E with the addition of a carefully designed sampling block and electric solenoids to trap the measurement gas in the chamber when not in use.
