Electron Beam Welded Flange

For the ultimate gas tight sensor, we can offer a range of special electron beam welded (EBW) solutions which removes the need for a replaceable gasket, and provides a ultra-high quality gas tight seal between the zirconia sensor and the stainless manifold. The sensor is cold-welded to a pre-prepared stainless manifold using EBW to avoid damaging the sensor ceramic head. Once the EBW is completed the sensor is calibrated in situ to guarantee performance. If the sensor is damaged or needs replacing it can be removed and replaced by carefully grinding the old welded section away thus removing the need to replace the costly stainless manifold each time.
