Cambridge Sensotec Acquire New Premises

October 3^rd, 2011 saw the beginning of a new chapter for us here at Cambridge Sensotec. With the expansion of the business through the development of new instruments and increasing customer demand for our services, we outgrew the previous site. Our new premises encompasses extensive warehousing space, offices, production workshop, calibration station and space for a newly planned demonstration area. Keeping up with customer demand has led to an increase in staff here in St Ives, as well as the appointment of additional worldwide distributors. With these new team members on board and a new home, we look forward to servicing the needs of our customers, old and new, into 2012 and beyond.

Managing Director Mark Swetnam commented on the company’s expansion:

As our products continue to be adopted in new markets, and our company continues to grow, we were pleased to find a suitable and adaptable facility in the right location for our evolving business. It makes great sense for our company to select another location in St. Ives as it remains a convenient region for staff, customers, and local suppliers and has excellent travel links. The new facilities increased the size and warehousing space and will continue to improve Cambridge Sensotecs efficiency, products and service to our customers.

We are also delighted to welcome Ian Donaldson to the Cambridge Sensotec team. Ian has joined Cambridge Sensotecs manufacturing department as Production Technician to help facilitate the ever-growing demand for the company’s Rapidox range of analysers. Ian stated that he was “excited to join a dynamic company like Cambridge Sensotec, and I am looking forward to expanding my experience with the company.”
