Dynascan – “Made to measure”

Cambridge Sensotec is pleased to introduce Dynascan’s seal integrity and leak detection systems. These low-cost units can be used to test a variety of different packaging types, with several models able to test up to four items simultaneously, speeding up the testing process.

The MediTest units use a vacuum to measure the reactive force generated by the pack to test its seal integrity. To enhance the functionality, Dynascan have developed unique software that not only reduces the test cycle time but also allows the units to test semi porous-packs. The MediBLUE unit, which is available with either an internal venture vacuum generator or an electric pump, automates the industry standard Methylene Blue Dye leak test.

The performance of the units is exceptional. With a test cycle time as little as 10 seconds and a detection limit of better than 10 microns hole diameter (dependent on pack size), making them an excellent choice for both production and laboratory environments.

A PC based virtual instrument control system complete with touch screen HMI gives the user easy to read results and test data analysis, making it simple to use and functional, without the need for any specialist tooling.
